Zambia national team assistant coach Aggrey Chiyangi says his team is in Swaziland to collect maximum points in Sunday’s CHAN 2018 qualifier against Sihlangu.
Speaking at the Lugogo Sun Hotel where the team has set base, Chiyangi said his team is braced for a tough challenge from the Swazi’s.
“We have prepared for the game because we know that our opponents will be parading a stronger team unlike the one they had in the COSAFA Cup where they missed most of their key players and therefore we need to fight,” he said.
“Our main goal is to qualify for the CHAN hence cannot afford to lose any match be it home or away. So this is a must win game for us no matter what,” he said.
And defender Taonga Bwembya stated that he and his team mates will fight to the end to collect maximum points.
“We are in Swaziland to collect points and are not under any pressure as we have done the necessary preparations for the match. We will put up a brave fight throughout 90 minutes of football,” he told the Observer.
The two countries will be looking to cement a place in the finals of the competition to be hosted by Kenya next year over a two legged affair.
