Sven confirms Fashion to miss Sunday’s encounter
Chipolopolo coach Sven Vandenbroek has confirmed that Belgium based striker Fashion Sakala did not travel with the team because of an illness in the family.
The KV Oostende man left camp just shortly after Zambia beat Guinea Bissau on Wednesday because of the same issue.
“Fashion did not travel with the team due to some family issues on health. So I wish the situation of the family member will be better soon so he can focus again on football, ” he said.
Sakala was an unused substitute in the match which saw Stophila Sunzu and Justin Shonga score either side of half time to lead the copper bullets to victory.
Zambia will face the same opponent on Sunday as they look to better their chances of qualifying to the 2019 Cameroon Africa Cup of nations.
