Situmbeko draws Numba’s wrath after Facebook blooper

Zanaco midfielder Julius Situmbeko may have landed himself in trouble with his club after he shared an expletive-riddled post which has now been deleted, but not before screenshots were taken, on his Facebook profile.

The midfielder has drawn the ire of his club coaches after he shared a photo of a young woman at whom he directed vulgarities.

A source close to the development told Zamfoot that Situmbeko was expected to given a fine in addition to further unspecified disciplinary action.

“A Zanaco player shared a very vulgar post on his Facebook wall, and technical bench plans to fine him and take further action against him,” said the source.

Situmbeko, 22, joined Zanaco in July after moving from Power Dynamos where he had spent four and a half years, winning the Samuel Zoom Ndhlovu Charity Shield twice (2013 and 2016), including a runners-up medal in the same competition in 2015.
The former Konkola Blades midfielder has been a bit part player since moving to Zanaco and now seems to have set himself up for the possibility of being sidelined for a lengthy period by his coach.
