In search of game time, Sunzu linked with Russian Gunners
Zambian centre Back Stopilla Sunzu, 27, looks set to leave his Club Lillie and could be headed to a Russian club Arsenal Tula.
According to information gathered by ZamFoot crew’s Chola Nicholas, it is belived that Sunzu is in Turkey with Arsenal Tula football club where the club is having their preseason and he is expected to seal a deal.
Arsenal Tula is a Russian football team from Tula playing in the Russian Football Premier League. After the end of the 2013–14 season, FC Arsenal Tula was promoted to the Russian Premier League after finished the competition as runner-up.
Sunzu struggled to get first team action with the French Ligue 1 Club Lillie due to injuries and only made 5 appearrances in all competitions in 2016/2017 season for French outfit.
The Zambia defender who just recovered from injury made his first appearance in 2017 for his French Ligue 1 club Lille on Saturday when came off the bench 49th minute in Lille’s 2-1 away win over 7-time Ligue 1 champions Olympique Lyon.
