Power Dynamos’ Situmbeko goes AWOL

Power Dynamos midfielder Julius Koko master Situmbeko has been reported to be absent without official notification.

According to sources close to the ZamFoot Crew , it has been revealed that Situmbeko has handed in what seemingly to be a transfer request so that he can leave the club to Zanaco.

This is however not the first time that the nimble right footed midfielder is going AWOL. Situmbeko arrived at Arthur Davies Stadium in 2013 from Konkola Blades. In November 2013 , he signed for Gor Mahia of Kenya without the consent of his parent Club Power Dynamos .

Power Dynamos had to refund Gor Mahia the singing on fee that Julio pocketed to keep him at Arthur Davies Stadium.

In 2014 ,Julio was linked to Nkana, and even decided to announce on social media that his heart was with Kalampa.

In 2015 ,Julio again without the consent of Power Dynamos trained with Zesco United as he tried to join the Ndola based Club. In 2016, Julio attempted to join Napsa Stars. July 2017 , Julio has gone Awol after submitting a “resignation letter ” in which he indicated that he is joining Zanaco.

This season, Situmbeko started games against Buildcon, Red Arrows,Eagles,Mighty and Konkola Blades. He also played as a sub against Napsa,Nkwazi,Forest(scored a goal) and Nakambala. He wasn’t part of the squad against Zesco in the Charity Shield and the week 1 away game to Lusaka Dynamos.

He missed games against Nchanga Rangers, Nkana and Green Buffaloes FC due to an illness

Situmbeko was reported to be Awol when Power played City of Lusaka at home.
