” The defence is very worrying if we need to reinforce we will do that
We are an ambitious club and we want to play continental football but we can’t be conceding like this if we want to play continental football,” Kananda told the ZamFoot crew in a post match interview.

The bankers head coach Numba Mumamba rubbished his teams transition into defence after a break in attack describing it as pathetic. He refused to blame the pitch for the poor performance and blamed it on his porous defence.

“I think it is just our poor defending which cost us.We have played in such pitches before, All we needed was to do the right thing at the right time but whenever we lost the ball our reverting into defending was very pathetic that’s why we conceded the four goals,” He said.

The bankers were handed a four nil shock defeat in Mazabuka by Nakambala Leopards. Junior Zulu, Simon Mulenga and Felix Bulaya scored the goals for the Sugar Boys while Tafadzwa Rusike and Taonga Bwembya scored the two goals for the bankers.

The bankers have only managed two keep two clean sheets in 14 games , A barren draw against Zesco United and a one nil win in the reverse fixture against Nakambala Leopards at Sunset Stadium.

If at all zanaco makes it for continental next season, they should consider poaching Thanks Mwape for his good positional sence/physic, and Adrian Chama for spear, physic and experience. Benson Sakala could also be another option to solidify the defensive midfield.
