Players abroad: Patson Daka, Augustine Mulenga and Lifumpa Mwandwe hit the back of the net
Zambian players abroad were in action again over the weekend. Striker Patson Daka opened his goal account in Austria as Redbull Salzburg cruised to a routine 4-1 win over Mattersburg.
Augustine Mulenga and Lifumpa Mwandwe were also on target for their respective clubs while Fashion Sakala set up a goal.
In South Africa, Winger Augustine Mulenga scored the first goal and set up the second goal as Orlando Pirates cruised to a 3-1 win over Bloemfontein Celtic. Justin Shonga put in a 72-minute shift.
Striker Lazarus Kambole put in a full ninety minutes shift for Kaizer Chiefs in their hard-fought 3-2 win over Highlands Park.
Gamphani came from the bench to play the last 22 minutes of the Supersport United 2-0 loss to defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns. Billy Mutale and Kennedy Mweene were not part of the matchday squads.
Polokwane City recorded a one-nil win over Black Leopards but both Salulani Phiri (Polokwane) and Mwape Musonda (Leopards) were not included in the matchday squads. This was former Zesco United coach Zlatko Krymptic first game in charge of Polokwane.
Former Nkana captain Donashano Malama was left out of the Chippa United matchday squad for their goalless draw at home to newcomers Stellenbosch.
Former Chipolopolo coach Wedson Nyirenda’s Baroka FC held Ben McCarthy’s Cape Town City to a 2-2 draw picking up a valuable point.
In Tanzania, Former Zesco United striker Maybin Kalengo was a second-half substitute for YANGA in their 1-1 draw with Kariobangi Sharks in a friendly match.
Simba SC who have Chipolopolo midfielder Clatous Chota Chama on their books will face Power Dynamos in a friendly match on Tuesday.

Obbrey Chola Chirwa and his Azam teammates played out to a goalless draw with Ruvu Shooting.
In Austria, Striker Patson Daka was on target for his Austrian Bundesliga side Redbull Salzburg opening his goal account for the season. The Austrian Bundesliga defending Champions cruised to a 4-1 win over SV Mattersburg in a league match.
Midfielder Enock Mwepu came from the bench to replace Takumi Minamino in the last few minutes of the match.

In Belgium, Fashion Sakala came from the bench to replace Ronald Alejandro Vargas in the 27th minute and set up Sirindit Guri for the third goal as KV Oostende cruised to a 3-1 win over Cercle Brugge.
Midfielder Emmanuel Banda was left out of the match day squad.
In China, Former Chipolopolo striker Jacob Mulenga put in a full shift for Liaoning Kiaxin in their Chinese League One 1-1 draw with Xinjiang Tianshan.
In England, Lifumpa Mwandwe was on target for his new club Newtown AFC in a friendly match. They beat Sutton Coldfield Town FC 3-0.

Stopilla Sunzu played the first match of the two friendly matches played by his French Ligue 1 side FC Metz against Germany Bundesliga side FC Mainz 05. The Germany side won both games by a lone goal.

In Russia Lameck Banda was an unused substitute for Arsenal Tula who beat FK Tambov 1-0. Klings and Evans Kangwa were not part of the match day squad.
