It is very painful to miss Nigeria game – Brian Mwila
Injured Chipolopolo striker Brian Mwila says it is very painful and disturbing to miss the ‘must win’ World Cup qualifier against Nigeria to be played next week.
Mwila who confirmed that he will not travel with the national team to Uyo stated that he is still suffering from the injury he sustained in the game Algeria and he is not fit to play Saturday despite having started training.
“I am in the team but I am not going with team [to Nigeria] because of the same injury, it’s good that I have started training but I am not fit for the game. I am expected to start playing games in four weeks time,” the prolific striker said.
In a message for his team mates, the Platinum Stars striker urged his colleagues to give it all for the Zambia.
“It is very painful and disturbing [to miss the game] but everything happens for a reason. I am not going to be with you but we will be together in spirit,” he added.
