Nyirenda summons four Bola na Lesa boys for 4-team tourney
Zambia national team head coach Wedson Nyirenda has summoned eight foreign based Chipolopolo stars including four ‘Bola Na Lesa’ boys for the four team tournament that will be staged in Ndola later this month.
The four are Redbull Salzburg duo of striker Patson Daka and midfield ace Enock Mwepu. The other two are entertaining winger Fashion Sakala of Spartak Moscow and pass master Emmanuel Banda of K.V Oostende.
Nyirenda has also named South African PSL’s hot cake in striker Justin Shonga together with team mate Augustine Mulenga.The other two are former Kabwe Warriors captain Roderick Kabwe (Ajax Cape Town) and Salulani Phiri (Polokwane City) .
Zambia will kick off their tournament with a tricky encounter against COSAFA champions Zimbabwe on Thursday, March 22 at 13:00 hours while South Africa and Angola will lock horns at 15:00 hours . Both game will take place at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in form of a double header.
The winner of match one will take on the winners for match two in the final while the losers will also face each other in the third and fourth play off at Levy Mwanawasa stadium on March 25th.
