Numba names 45 man provisional squad for COSAFA U20 Championships

The newly eleveted U20 National team technical bench led by Numba Mumamba has named a 45 man provisional squad for next month’s Cosafa U20 Championships. The team is mainly consisted of players from this years COSAFA U17 Championships winning squad.

National Assembly striker Gamphani Jones Lungu who has scored a whooping 17 goals and assisted on 22 occasions on the road to leading the parliamentarians back to the super league has also been given a call up.

Ngosa Sunzu is the only player returned from coach Beston Chambeshi’s all conquering U20 squad that won the 2017 U20 AFCON and reached the quarter finals of the World cup.

Sensational Zanaco duo of Striker Damiano Kola and winger Kunda Nkandu have also been drafted into the squad.

The tournament will take place between 6th and 16th December in the Copperbelt. Nkana and Arthur Davies stadium will be the host stadia for this years tournament.
