Numba names 20 lads for Cosafa U17 Championship
Zambia Under 17 coach Numba Mumamba has picked 20 lads for the 2017 Cosafa Cup championship.
The Football Association of Zambia FAZ has confirmed that the boys underwent MRI tests over the weekend with the technical bench picking their final squad thereafter.
The young Chipolopolo consists of boy in the lower ranks of the league as well as those picked from regional school tournaments.
Nchanga Rangers’ Martin Ndhlovu will be the bother to watch at the tournament in Mauritius as he has been impressive leading the attack for Numba’s boys.
Zambia are drawn in Group B alongside South Africa, Mozambique and Madagascar.
The tournament takes place from July 21-31.
