No Bola for Masosa as Napsa suspend their goalkeeper
Super Division side Napsa Stars have suspended their Congolese goalkeeper Masosa Bola following an incident in the second half of the Charity Shield against Zesco United at Nkoloma Stadium.
Below is a statement from the Lusaka based club.
Napsa Stars Football Club wishes to apologise to Zesco United Football Club, The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) and the entire football fraternity in Zambia over the un-sportsman behaviour exhibited by Goal keeper Masosa Bola.
NAPSA does not condone indiscipline within its ranks and condemns in strongest terms, Masosa’s behaviour displayed during yesterday’s Charity Shield semi-final match played at Nkoloma Stadium.
The disciplinary committee has head the case and has since decided to suspend the player from six league matches with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, the player has apologized to the executive and fans for his actions.
