Nkana in local derby, Napsa eye relegation escape
The Zambia Super Division reaches Week 32 with interesting games lined up across the country.
Top of the bill will be the game in Choma that will see 4th placed Green Eagles host 6th placed Power Dynamos. Eagles who have 58 points will be looking at consolidating their position in the top four while Power who have 49 points will be hoping to inch close to the top four. Eagles have only lost once in their last 20 games.
In Lusaka, Napsa Stars could be out of the relegation zone for the first time this season if they pick a result against bottom placed New Monze Swallows and the result between Green Buffaloes and Lumwana Radiants goes their way. Napsa are currently in 17th place with 29 points a point behind Lumwana Radiants. They have not lost in the last 9 games dating back to 3rd July when they were beaten 2 – 0 by Green Eagles.
On the Copperbelt, Kitwe United will host Nkana. Nkana are the league’s in-form team having gone 12 games unbeaten and winning their last four games. It is expected to be a tight local derby but Nkana have bolstered their squad and are chasing the title with just 6 point behind leaders Zesco United.
