Nkana go second as Eagles beat Dynamos
Nkana FC moved into second position after they beat Nakambala Leopards 3 – 0.
Kalampa took advantage of the slip by Green Buffaloes who were held to a goalless draw by Zanaco.
Ronald Kampamba scored the opening goal before Jacob Ngulube and substitute Walter Bwalya scored a goal each.
The results sees Nkan move to 65 points five behind leaders Zesco who have a game in hand and ahead of third placed Buffaloes on goal difference.
Eagles also consolidated their spot in 4th position with a vital win over Lusaka Dynamos thanks to a Tapson Kaseba brace. Chris Mugalu scored the face saver for Dynamos. The Choma side now have 64 points with fifth placed Zanaco on 57 points.
Napsa Stars extended their unbeaten run to 11 games when they came from behind to hold Kabwe Warriors to a 1 – 1 draw in Kabwe. Bornwell Mwape scored the equalizer after Twiza Chaibela had given Warriors the lead.
Monze Swallows embarrassingly failed to fulfill their fixture.
