Nkana await medical report on the seriousness of Walter’s injury
Nkana coach Beston Chambeshi is awaiting on the report from the medical team on how serious the injury that striker Walter Bwalya sustained is.
The 2016 MTN/FAZ Super League top goalscorer was withdrawn in the first half after sustaining an injury.
” Walter Bwalya is one of the pillars in the team. When you see a player like him get injured you get worried as a coach but am waiting for medics to assess and tell us the seriousness of the injury, ” he said.
Walter has been influential for Nkana this month netting three goals in three matches and asssiting once. He was replaced by Idris Mbombo on Sunday, August 26th and the former Zesco United striker netted the only goal of the game winning Nkana the game and propelling them to third place.
