Napsa Stars have taken an early lead of the MTN FAZ on goal difference thanks to a brace by new national team call up Chitiya Mususu which helped them beat Nchanga Rangers 3 – 0.
The Chingola outfit managed to frustrate Napsa until defender Luka Banda gave them a 1-0 lead in the 45th minute off a Collins Sikombe (the prodigal son) corner.
In the second half, it was the prodigal son again at his best as his sublime pass found the towering Mususu, who made it 2-0.
The 22 year old got his second of the day after he made a good run and connected a Solomon Sakala cross late in the game.
Mususu was named in Wedson Nyirenda’s Chipolopolo squad that will go in camp on Sunday evening and will feel the brace will justify his call up.
Napsa are level on points with Lumwana Radiants and Green Eagles who won their respective games by a goal to nil.
Action in the league continues with Green Buffaloes hosting Mufulira Wanderers while Lusaka Dynamos host Power Dynamos in a double header to be played at Heroes stadium.
