The Barclays Cup on Saturday saw four teams compete at the semi-final stage for a spot in the 2017 finals.
With the stakes so high, these were cagey encounters producing only one goal in open play in the two games.
Napsa Stars dominated play against the CAF Confederations Cup quarter finalists and should have won the game in regulation time.

He didn’t have much to do but he was up to the task when he was called to action.
Paul Banda (Lusaka Dynamos)
Solid performance by the right back. He plugged his end well and hardly put a foot wrong.
Boyd Mkandawire (Napsa)Â
Very good positioning and impeccable timing to make interceptions. Always a wonder to watch with a good first touch and control but needs to improve his passing.
Freddy Msinde (Napsa)
Solid defending by the Napsa captain. He shut out the Zesco front men with a high work rate. He led from the back.
Ziyo Tembo (Zanaco)
Calm and collected display by the reigning footballer of the year. He continued where he left from with the Chipolopolo.
Kondwani Mtonga (Zesco)
He controlled the midfield very well for Zesco United and dictated the pace of play
Sydney Kalume (Lusaka Dynamos)
Solid performance in a typical defensive role. He did the dirty work for Dynamos and his passing going forward was good.
Collins Sikombe (Napsa)
Good attacking play from the midfield. He was always looking dangerous joining in attack. He held his nerve to score the winning penalty for Napsa.
Austin Banda (Napsa)
What a performance by attacking midfielder on the flank. Very confident on the ball and tormented Kapumbu with flair and pace.
Felix Nyaende (Zanaco)
The only goal scorer on the day. A well taken header, well placed  leaving the goalie with no chance. He looked hungry for goals.
Jesse Were (Zesco)
A mature display by the tall striker. On a day when strikers misfired, he was always trying to make something happen for his colleagues in the final third.
Didn’t Augustine Mulenga play, arguably Zambia’s best player at the moment.
No he didn’t. He was given leave after the bereavement. But he was in the stands
Nice one Zamfoot. Like this team of the week type stuff. Not surprised that Kampumbu was given a hard time. A lot of his weaknesses were on display against Nigeria. Young man has some work to do. I think he does well defensively, but becomes a liability when he has the ball and is put under pressure.
