Nakambala suffer massive injury blow but Saileti unshaken
Nakambala Leopards will be without three key players in Junior Zulu, Felix Bulaya and Chataba Kambole when they take on Buildcon this afternoon.
Head Coach Zeddy Saileti confirmed the development in an interview with the ZamFoot Crew. The trio is unavailable for selection which leaves Saileti in a tricky situation.
Saileti said the situation is an opportunity for other players to step up and perform.
“Junior Zulu has a bad head injury which he sustained during training on Thursday and we wouldn’t want to risk him, Felix Bulaya too is injured and has a hamstring leaving him out of the team. Chataba Kabole is also unwell. The three influential players will not take part in tomorrow’s (today) game with Buildcon,” he said.
“It is an opportunity for the others to show what they can deliver, As a Technical Bench we will give them the needed confidence to step up on the occasion and help record our first victory at home , am Confident the new players we have brought in camp will respond positively and help us carry the day.”
On the approach of the game, the Coach assured the team will play with his default tactics but some individual tactical approaches will be added to the game.
New Inclusions This week Include John Goma, Wilmore Haatembo, Evans Chisenga and George Mutanda whose been missing from action due to injury and is set to feature as Given Sinyangwe is serving a suspension and Alex Mwamba is not available for selection.
The Sugar Boys host Buildcon this afternoon at the Nakambala Stadium in a week 6 MTN/FAZ Super League encounter.
