Mwila, Kondwani miss out as Zesco leave for Sudan

Zesco United have left for Sudan ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage round 4 match against Al Hilal to be played on Sunday, 3rd March.

The Zambia champions will be without left back Mwila Phiri who has been instrumental in the team’s campaign in Africa this season having played all games. Mwila misses out due to injury.

Kondwani Mtonga is also out of the team as he completes his suspension after being sent off against Asante Kotoko in Ghana.

Zesco dropped to third position after being held to a 1 – 1 draw at home by Al Hilal despite the visitors playing with a man down for the entire second half.

Zesco on Tuesday afternoon were held to a 2 – 2 draw by Kabwe Warriors in a league match. Coach George Lwandamina had one eye on the Al Hilal game as he made 10 changes to his team.

From the inimitable Ian Bakala to Isaac Chansa, Rainford Kalaba, Cletous Chama and the current mecurial Enock MWEPU. What is it that is different which Charley Musonda is coming to offer? I am not trying to bring up issues was just wondering
