Mwila debuts but Platinum stars still searching for first win
Striker Brian ‘The Hammer’ Mwila made his debut for South African PSL side Platinum stars on Wednesday. The former Green Buffaloes player came on for Ng’ambi in the 80th minute to play the last ten minutes of Dikwena’s 1 all draw with Orlando Pirates.
The Zambia national team talisman was nursing an injury he sustained during Zambia’s 3-1 win over Algeria.
Justin Shonga came off the bench to replace Porch in the 63rd minute. The two Zambian strikers could not help their teams win the match which ended in a draw with goals by Matlaba for Pirates and Ntuli for Platinum stars.
Polokwane City scored three goals but also allowed two as they beat Amazulu. Former sensational Zanaco midfielder Salulani Phiri played the full 90 minutes to help Rise and Shine win three valuable points.
Ndivhuwo Ravhuhali, Walter Musona and Rodney Ramagalela scored the goals for Polokwane City.
Lewis Macha played the fisrt 60 minutes for Baroka FC as they failed to extend their lead at the top. Baroka remain top of the log with 16 points from 8 games.
Rodrick Kabwe was left out the Ajax Cape town side that lost two nil away at Free State Stars. Kennedy Mweene was also not names in the match day squad that lost 2-1 to Kaizer Chiefs on Tuesday.
