Mwila Phiri is now the talk of town after the young striker allegedly resigned from Zambia national service (ZNS) the sponsors of Green Eagles football club to join Lusaka based money bags Elite Lusaka Dynamos.
It’s believed the youngster has quit the service a move which makes him free of all ties with Green Eagles hence from to make a permanent move to Lusaka Dynamos.
Phiri who is one of the best players in Eagles’ possession and has already started training with his new team mates. He was linked with a move to super league champions Zesco United last season but could not come to fruition.
He is joined at Dynamos by other local players like Shadreck Malambo from Red Arrows and Reuben Chansa from Nchanga Rangers.
The Mwila Phiri story is trending on social media with many being against the players decision but others few as they maybe have backed the strikers move saying he is “brave” and needs to be supported as he is taking a risk.
