Mwepu plays ninety as Daka suffers injury
Zambian midfielder Enock Mwepu who missed out on the trip to Germany as Redbull Salzburg went on to claim a famous two one win over Borrusia Dortmund was in action yesterday for FC Liefering, The Salzburg second team.
The former Napsa stars man put in a decent ninety minute shift while Striker Patson Daka had his time on the pitch cut short due to injury.
Daka who also did not make the trip to Germany suffered a an injury 37 minutes into the match forcing a first half substitution and Austrian 18 year old attacker Nicolas Meister replaced the 2017 CAF young player of the year.
A goal in either half scored by Meister and Kim Jung-Min was all that Liefering needed to correct maximum points and move within six points of log leaders Wacker Innsbruck.
