Mwepu hoping for a good game in Algeria
Zambia National team midfielder Enock Mwepu is confident the team will not lose concentration in Algeria. The former Napsa Stars player is hoping for a great game in tomorrow.
“I’m more confident that the team will keep the same focus like the way we ended the game and pick up from their. All am hoping for is to have a good game,” Mwepu told ZamFoot Crew in an exclusive interview from Algeria.
Mwepu scored the winning goal of the game on Saturday as Zambi beat Algeria 3-1, Something that the youngster is very excited about.
“it’s a miracle,of course I am happy and great to be part of the team that has excited the Zambian people and looking forward for another victory,” he said
Together with Patson Daka, Edward Chilufya, Emmanuel Banda and Fashion Sakala, the quintuple are being earmarked as Zambia’s new symbol of present and future.
World Cup Qualifiers
While Mwepu and Sakala were earning their first cap, Daka now has 5 caps after he made his international debut in that ill fated home draw against Equatorial Guinea in 2015.
The left footed Banda is in the squad for Tuesday clash and is in line to make his full international bow while Chilufya did not make the squad.
Zambia play Algeria on Tuesday in their fourth game in the Russia 2018 World cup qualifiers away in Algeria.
Both Zambia and Algeria need an outright win to stand a chance of making it to Russia.
