Mutapa cautions players against complacency
Forest Rangers coach Perry Mutapa has warned his players against complacency follwing their three game winning streak beating Napsa Stars , Buildcon and Power dynamos in the process.
Mutapa is concerned that the wins might get to the heads of the players and they can go to sleep at the crucial part of the season he told the ZamFoot crew in a post match interview.
” We will take each game as it comes . The most important thing is for players to understand that the game against Power is gone, The game against Buildcon is gone, Next we face MUZA who are newcomers but the application from the players should be the same like today. The problem with Zambian players is that they can go to sleep after beating these two big teams,” he said.
” We have to keep our foot down. We have to keep our discipline and approach every game with the same way . If we go to MUZA and fail get a result it will be bad for our progress . Each team that is in the Super League we have to approach the game like we have been approaching the other games,” he added.
Austin Muwowo scored a brace while Zikiru Adams and Patrick Ilongo added a goal each as Forest Rangers beat Power dynamos 4-2 . Larry Bwalya and Jimmy Dzingai scored the goals for Power.
