Mukuka Mulenga makes Aces debut
Mukuka Mulenga was back in action in the PSL for the first time this season when he featured for his new club Mpumalanga Black Aces in the club’s o – o draw at home against Bloemfontein Celtic.
Playing alongside Collins Mbesuma, Mukuka clocked 54 minutes on his Aces debut against the club he last played for over 8 months ago when he last featured in the league.
Aces captain Mbesuma completed the entire game but could not find the back of the net as Aces slumped to a second successive draw which has seen them drop into 3rd position.
Davies Nkausu only lasted 62 minutes in Free State Stars 5 – 2 home loss to log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
With Ugandan Onyango not picked for the match, South African Wayne Sandiland was preferred in goal ahead of Kennedy Mweene who had to e content with a place on the bench in the game.
Mwape Musonda this time started on the bench and was introduced in the 66th minute for Golden Arrows in their 1 – 0 loss to second placed Bidvest Wits.
Despite hiss great work ethic and all round contribution, Musonda has struggled for goals scoring only once in 13 appearances.
This was a fourth consecutive loss for Arrows as they dropped to 11th position on the log.
