Mbesuma scores for Aces in Tuks draw
Collins Mbesuma got back to scoring ways when he banged in a goal for Mpumalanga Black Aces but agonizingly conceded a goal in the 5th minute of the referee’s optional time after the 90 minutes to draw 1 – 1 against University of Pretoria.
Mbesuma opened the scores in the 31st minute when he fired home with his left from a tight angle despite being heavily policed by his marker. University of Pretoria however fought back to grab a goal with the virtually the last kick of the game.
Aces had looked comfortable throughout the game and Mbesuma will rue the missed chances as the Zambian striker could have walked away with a hattrick with one of his efforts cleared off the line with the goalkeeper beaten.
Mukuka Mulenga was an unused substitute in the game.
Aces are now 5th on the log.
