Lusaka Dynamos host Nchanga as Zesco look to go clear in rescheduled fixtures
Log leaders Zesco United will be back in action on Wednesday afternoon when they take on Lumwana Radiants in a week 26 rescheduled fixture.
Zesco are fresh from humiliating Eswatini giants Mbabane Swallows who they beat 3 – 0 thanks to a Lazarous Kambole hat-trick and they will be looking to continue in the local league with the same momentum.
Zesco are currently level on 62 points with Green Buffaloes despite having played three games less.
They will be looking to go three points clear on top of the log.
Zesco are likely to name a changed team as they deal with a congested fixture list that will see them travel to Kabwe on Saturday to play Kabwe Warriors before hosting Etoile Sportive du Sahel of Tunisia in the final round of group games of the 2018 CAF Champions League on the Tuesday 28th August.
Lumwana on the other hand are struggling to pick points having gone 6 games without a win and drawing only once in the same period.
Elsewhere, Lusaka Dynamos will play Nchanga Rangers in a week 13 rescheduled fixture.
Relegation threatened Nchanga picked a rare winner over the weekend when they beat Nkwazi 1 – 0 and they will be looking to move one spot up if they beat their hosts.
Lusaka Dynamos have the incentive of moving one step up into 8th position ahead of Kabwe Warriors of they pick maximum points at Sunset Stadium.
