Lusaka Dynamos, Buffaloes win to cut Napsa Stars lead
Lusaka Dynamos on Sunday afternoon beat whipping boys Real Nakonde 2 – 1 to cut Napsa Stars lead at the top of the log to five points.
Title chasing Dynamos were on target in the 34th minute through Jimmy Nkongo but Nakonde pulled one back from the spot.
Mwansa Nsofwa who was part of the Chipolopolo squad that reached the final of the Cosafa Cup made sure the Patrick Phiri coached side got maximum points when he netted in the 75th minute of the game.
Dynamos now have 29 points with two games in hand.
In Ndola, Felony Sitonya scored the only goal of the match when Green Buffaloes collected a vital three points away against Forest Rangers which sees them end the week in third position.
Buffaloes are on 28 points 6 behind leaders Napsa Stars and they have played a game less.
This was Buffaloes third straight win.
