Luchanga ditches financially broke Lusaka Dynamos

Striker Conlyde Luchanga has ditched Super Division side Lusaka Dynamos but club president Hanif Adams has accused agents of influencing players to leave.

According to a letter obtained by the Sports Mail in Lusaka yesterday, Luchanga has quit because Dynamos have failed to honour contractual obligations.

Recently, Uganda defender Joseph Ochaya, midfielders Fwayo Tembo, Cletus Chama, and striker Chris Mugalu ditched Dynamos citing failure by the club to honour contractual obligations.

“Reference is made to the subject matter above [termination of contract]. It is with a heavy heart that I write to terminate my contract with Lusaka Dynamos Football Club because of the failure by the club to fulfil the obligation in the contract,” the letter reads in part.

  1. Positive Thinking says:

Hanif Adams is now sounding like that Iraqi General who said Sadam was winning the war while American tanks were rolling in behind him.

The club is clearly in a financial mess and rather than face the music, Hanif is trying to cast blame on others. Clearly the money that was used to lure those players to the club has dried up or was never there in the first place.

Get your house in order Hanif…and do it soon.
