International midfielder Lubambo Musonda played the entire game when his Armenian club Gandzasar opened their UEFA Europa League campaign with a 1 – 0 loss to Mladost of Montenegro.
As expected the attacking midfielder was named in the starting XI and he completed the game playing on the wing in the first qualifying round of the Europa League.
Gandzasar were looking good despite playing away with Lubambo looking very dangerous on the right wing.
The match was locked at 0 – 0 at half time.
They were undone after they conceded a penalty in the 57th minute which was scored by Durisic.
Lubambo was booked in the 88th minute.
The two teams play in the return match next week on 6th July.
This was the 22 year old’s debut match in a European competition.
Still game to play.
Looks like Lubambo is stuck in Armenia. I thought the league was just a stepping stone to other better leagues.
All the best son still as you strive for greatness.
work hard lad the best is yet to come
