CAF CL: Zanaco 0 – 0 APR (As it happened)
Zambian Champions Zanaco are in action against Rwandese side APR in the the first leg of the Preliminary round of the CAF Champions League at Nkoloma Stadium with kickoff at 14:00 hours.
Zanaco coach Numba Mumamba has gone for the traditional 4-4-2 formation with two holding midfielders. Richard Kasonde is expected to play the advanced as a box to box while Under-20 star Boyd Musonda will shield the back four.
On the flanks, Numba has gone Fashion Sakala and Augustine Mulenga while the man to watch will be former Lusaka Dynamos striker Kennedy Musonda who will be making his competitive Zanaco debut.
The other two debutants are expected to be full backs in the form of former Mufulira Wanderers’ Taonga Bwembya and the much experienced Chongo Chirwa.
Chirwa, was part of the the 2009 CHAN Squad.
The partnership of Ziyo Tembo and George Chilufya continues in central defence in addition to the two new faces in defence though Chilufya and Chirwa have played together at Nchanga Rangers.
