Free kick from a good position is poorly done by Larry.
    Both keepers not seriously tested

  8. To me the U-17 looked more talented than this team. This team is not holding the ball, they are just kicking and chasing all the time. No really coordination, but that’s just my observation.

  9. Our team is not well balanced. We have players who are really going for it and others who are mentally not ready to fight!

  10. Playing like this pa level iyi friends ni disgrace. I am not sure if to blame ba Coach (poor selection) or poor coaching or ama players themselves. This is not acceptable, mpu, mpu no formula.

  11. If we could hold on to a draw at worst and then hoping to gel in the other games, then we have a chance, but of we lose, then Oo!

  15. We see Mr. TC, we never learn! A draw in the opening game is/has always been disadvantageous for us. It creates playing to permutations of “If the draw, then we …” A second draw makes you get an exit that is why we need psychologists to help these boys. I know that is the worst case scenario but we need to be winning first games if we have to be in contention.

Another attack this time on the left and Kayawe makes a last ditch clearance for a corner which is cleared

Best chance for Zambia as Larry Bwalya free shot in the box comes off the cross bar!!!!!!!!!!!1

  20. They are at least showing some signs of life but not enough! You cannot take 45 min to warm up your engines since big teams can punish you for such ineptitude!

  24. Useless Kalu I hope he is happy, I do not know what it will take for Zambians to realize that Kalu is not doing Zambian football any good. This guys is just there for the money and just waiting to Isa Hayatou to die for heart attack so he can run for CAF.

  25. Its better we come back after this game because against ghana and SA it will be a very big embarrassment! There is no talent in this team! We cheat ourselves when we play malawi and the likes of lesotho and Mozambique!

  26. the root problem with zambia football is FAZ plus the fans’ unrealistic expectations which puts the players at bay.

    • WHAAAAAAAT!!?– TRYING BOWLING AND CRICKET?

      Kekekekekekekeke.. Kwaaaaaaaaaaa Hahahahahahahaha.

      I CANT STOP LAAFIN..

Benson Sakala goes down injured in a one on one challenge as Diarra is given a yellow card for dangerous play

    • I BELIEVE THE YOUNG CHIPOS PLAYED THEIR HEARTS OUT.

IT WAS JUST A SHEER LUCK,,BUT MALIS FREE KICK WAS PERFECT ..

    • BAD BAD INDEED. LETS DO SOMETHING AS A COUNTRY HOPE THIS MWALE GUY WILL HELP WHERE CLD. REMEMBER UNEMPLOYMENT OF MOST YOUTH’S CLD BE HANDLED BY SPORTS WISE. GOODNYT ZAMBIA.

  28. Zambians need to wake up and stop comparing teams from other region to cosafa teams. Zambia will defeat teams like lesotho, madagascar and think they are on top of the world.

  29. If I had a way I would send the all team home and bring the under 17. That team is enterprising. This must be the last time for this coach as well, whoever it is. You do not go to such tournaments without a plan. What a shame!

  30. Get rid of Kalu and things will change for Zambia soccer. Players are tired of feeding Kalu. Players are working hard yet are not paid, then Kalu is living large in SA? If I was a player I wouldn’t play as hard if I knew some idiot in SA was living off me in SA.

    • Looooooooooooooooooooooool -Muahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

      Wahahahahahahahahahaha. Kekekekekekekekekekee Kwaaaaaaaaaaaa..

TC THINKS IT WAS THE ANDERLECHT AND PSV PLAYERS FAULT AND HE IS LIVING GOOD IN SOUTH AFRICA WITH HIS WIFE AND KIDS AND KIDS

COMMON SOCCERMAN, HAVE A GOOD COACH WHO CAN MOTIVATES THE KIDS MORE
      IN COACHING.

  31. I’ve stopped watching zambian football let me attend to personal issues I need to take a break from this heart ache. My advise is that zamfoot and other media should stop reporting cosafa wins so that we know the true reflection of our game.

  32. Haven’t been on zamfoot 4 a while and m surprised thrz a mambwe. I kno my name is common nd i presume this new MAMBWE is 4 real nd not one of those pipo who like hacking zamfoot loggers accounts. The difference is tht i dnt use capital letters in a whole sentence.

  33. we should stop this cosafa thing and think its good for our football
cosafa region must as well do somethng not just organising tornament that cant yield results at continental or global
kalu as well is a problem taking part in team selction
fans lets be humble and not put so much pressure on the boys when infact they are not on the same level with the west

  34. We have been beaten and at the same time OUT PLAYED. I have serious doubts about people who have been praising these boys! When did they start watching football in Zambia? Is this a team that can win a serious competition!

  35. I said it before the start of the game and i will say it again. This is one of the best under 20 teams that we have ever had in 50 years! I thought they game a good account of themselves and conceding a goal from a free kick was just unfortunate!

  36. My friend John, take heart brother man, i fully understand and feel your pain. We only have one Zambia. Win or lose we just love our team and the beautiful game. We still need your valuable contributions on this website.

  37. zamfoot pls report the real actual happening of the game these players might be good or talented but what we saw today was amalabishi…..you should report or bring out the blog as to who is the problem with our national teams
    1.faz
    2.coaches
    3.players
    4.kalu
dont even hip praise on anyone lets call a spade a spade maaybe we can move forward this cant go on like this,,,,,we are not buliding for the future these are the future

  38. Let’s not criticize the boys bt encourage them 2 do better in the nxt game. As tough as da group is we might jst pull thru. Wht we don’t wnt is a hatrick of 1st round eliminations coz rite now we hv a brace( snr team & under 17). Goodluck

  39. @John said last week: “Patson Daka will take the tournament by storm”

Justice Kafusha said: “That Patson boy is bad news to opponents”

I think everyone would agree that Zambians are the cause of their problems. You don’t overhype your team when they haven’t met any real test. Botswana, Malawi,Mozambique etc don’t count. You guys never learn; stop piling pressure on unproven budding talents.QED

  40. The top scorer of the U-17 tourney was Victor Osimhen but yet the Patson guy’s name has been bandied about as the best thing since sliced bread. You don’t hear Nigerians making noise about him because we know there is still the world cup, he has to replicate it against top class opposition in Chile and build from there. Zambia has talents no doubts but it takes more than that. You need good preparation, nurturing and an atmosphere free from unnecessary pressure to hone those talents like the west Africans are doing.

  41. I blame the players ,they don’t think about there future ,they don’t take there chances ,I cannot blame the government or faz because every thing was done for them , they arrived a week before the tournament .

  42. I am ready to help zambia if they can allow me to impregnate some of their virgins(if they av any left) and I will help u nurtured them with good food from d west…..I need 11 virgins because somebody like patson daka should be warming the bench

    • U moron!! Go and check your records well!!

Ghana has ELIMINATED ZAMBIA IN ALL FOOTBALL COMPETITION!

Whenever we are pair in the same group from the under 17 to the senior level, Ghana always ends up ELIMINATING ZAMBIA!

The records are there, go verify from it!!!

Ghana, eliminated Zambia from the all African games thru penalties!!

Ghana, again eliminated Zambia from the Olympic qualifers in Kumasi!!

Ghana eliminated Zambia from the under 2011 under 17 in Ghana!!

Ghana, again eliminated Zambia from the 2014 Brazil WC!!

Ghana has virtually denied zed in all football comp!!

  43. @Tasila im not here to argue only state facts. And 1 fact is that GHANA is a better team than ZAMBIA o the international stage to local stage..this is just facts take it how you want.

  44. How did u expect south africa to end the match with 11 men when they being mesmarized by a talented , skillful and tricky ghana team?

  45. We have to keep faith in our boys mind you our League is not on. Let us support the boys. Football is a funny game and can sometimes produce shocks. Mali are a very good side even at senior level, so let us be careful with the way we open our mouths and just wait. Talking will not change anything. Chilombo knows what is required now and that is 6 points. I don’t want anyone who is not Zambian to respond to this except people from Cameroon where my sweetheart comes from, thanks in advance. My comments are meant for Zambians, thanks again in advance and amen

    • You cannot be dictatorial and pick & choose who comments on this site. This is not the dark ages. This is a public forum and not your bedroom. Grow up my brother.

  46. UNDER 20 INDEED!!!

Most of the boys have been playing premier soccer for years now? What more experience are people asking for? Goal keeper is the first choice at a big club in Zambia by the name of Zanaco. Patson, Lubambo etc all have been playing top flight football in Zambia. If you look at the other teams, most if not all the players are from junior and academy sides.

The problem is we want to win by all means and we are ready to take any player even if they are old( not years but in football). Please give chance to real new comers and develop more talent.

I remember Clifford Mulenga being toasted from one under something to another under something. Now it’s Lubambo Musonda and Patson and etc.

We don’t want to develop talent but wait for it to appear magically.

Summary: OUR BOYS, BEST IN ZAMBIA, NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT AT INTERNATIONAL LEVEL.

  47. Ghana won the U20 World Cup in 2009

Ghana have recorded 80 points at the Word Youth stage and remains the only African team to lift the trophy.

The Black Satellites are on course to qualify to yet another World Cup after their 2-0 win over South Africa in their opening 2015 African Youth Championship in Senegal.

The Ghanaians are the powerhouse at the youth level on the continent with a remarkable feat at the world stage.

Coach Sellas Tetteh guided the team to win the World Youth Championship in 2009 in Egypt and remains on course for another shot at the title.

The team must negotiate their second group game against Zambia on Thursday to secure passage to the 2015 World Youth Championship in New Zealand.
