KYSA CARRY A 1-0 LEAD AGAINST NATIONAL ASSEMBLY IN THE SECOND LEG – WHO WINS IT?
National Assembly (0) v (1) KYSAE

If this season has taught us anything, it’s that there’s little to separate teams in this country especially at Division One Level. While the KYSAs’ 1-0 win in the first leg – secured by a stunning goal from Maunga Mabuku – won’t make up for the disappointment of their bismall performance in the Super league which got them demoted in 2018, it does mean they’re on course for a trip back to the Super League.
National Assembly are a different animal on home soil though, and will hope to turn this tie and get back to the Super League themselves . The two teams were relegated and promoted in the same season into the Super League . Unfortunately, only one will make it this time around.
Chiluba Mokondya is one of the keen followers of National Assembly and has this to say, : “We’re 1-0 down at half-time, but with the second leg to come, I don’t think that’s too much of a disaster on the balance of it. We have to make sure the chances we do create, we’re more clinical with. I thought we were pretty solid up to half-time, but they scored a great goal which our goalkeeper had no chance with.”
Gabriel Mpundu: “We have interest of Kabwe town and we shall give support to KYSA. We need teams in Kabwe after losing Prison Leopards . You would take any sort of advantage before the game going into the second leg, and particularly with how the game panned out, we are pleased.”
Its a big game with National Assembly representing Zone One while KYSA managed to beat off Real Nakonde and ZAMBEEF to cross to this game.
Its a tight call because while we talk about permutations , these two teams look well balanced on the field of play.
Prediction: I seem to balance more on National Assembly with their experience that I saw in the season . But KYSA rarely lost in Zone three. I don’t want to be drawn into which Zone is better off because that debate is coming to an end this weekend with a winner in the contest.
There is also a big possibility of KYSA getting an away goal that will make Assembly panic.
Prediction: National Assemble 2-1 KYSA on the day and you know what that means .
