Kalampa set for a North African club job

Zambian glamour side Nkana will face a North African club in the quarter finals of the Total CAF Confederations Cup.

And the draws for both CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup will be held on Wednesday.

The 12 times record Zambian Super League champions will avoid Sudanese giants Al Hilal as teams from the same group can’t be paired.

Both Al Hilal and Nkana were in Group C together with Zesco United and Asante Kotoko of Ghana.

With Al Hilal out, and having come out second in the group, Beston Chambeshi’s will now face one of  the other group winners.

RS Berkane and CS Sfaxien of Morocco and Tunisia respectively are the likely opponents in the last 8.

There could be a date against Egyptian side Zamalek.

This season Kalampa have been splendid at home and showed their prowess by winning all their three home matches although they lost all their away matches in the group stage.

Six of the eight quarter finalist has been dominated by North African clubs. Only Nkana and Kenyan side Gor  Mahia are from East and Southern Africa.

NKANA will be baptized with fire in North Africa, They allow so many goals away. They will win at home but they will be humiliated when they go to North Africa, unless Chambeshi works on his useless defense.

I can tell you are Zambian by how negative you are and chances are 99.9% that you grew up in Lusaka or Copper belt especially Chimwemwe, Masala, Ndeke Changa Changa – Kitwe, Chiwempala, Butondo, Kamuchanga and some utuma shanti in Lusaka.
