Kalaba new TP Mazembe captain
Chipolopolo Boys captain Rainford Kalaba has been named as the new TP Mazembe.
Kalaba has replaced veteran Jean Kasusula. The left back is expected to be a bit by bit player.
The 30 year old becomes the first non-Congolese player to captain the Lubumbashi side in the last 8 years.
Kinshasa raised Tresor Mabi Mputu, Kidiaba and Bedi skippered the side.
In 2014, ex-Chipolopolo Boys coach Honour Janza handed Kalaba the armband after stripping off Chris Katongo.
Meanwhile Kalaba was on target as Mazembe beat Lubumbashi Sports 4-1
