Kabwe Warriors, Lumwana in Div 1 driving seats

Kabwe Warriors were yesterday back to winning after recording their third loss of the season away against Nampundwe.

The win helped Warriors open a 10 point lead at the top of Division One South Log after beating Kalomo Jetters in Kabwe 3-1.

Lusaka Tigers who were held at home by City of Lusaka are second and third respectively separated by goal difference.

In Division One North, Lumwana Radiants took full advantage of the loss suffered by Kalulushi Modern Stars at home to Roan to take over leadership in a tight contest for the top spot.

Lumwana are on 42 points while Kalulushi are on 39 points with third placed Roan United on 35 points.

The standings are after the midweek games played on Wednesday.

    Lusaka times has repirted on division one mwtches better thwn zamfoot. Infact LT seems to report like a football ssite unlike Zamfoot. Any blogger intending to read more about divsion results, read Lusaka Times. Zamfoot you have to start behaving like a football site!

  4. Kelvin Chomba put the home team in the driving seat on 35 minutes and Chimuka Mweemba got the clincher in the 74th minute to hand Warriors the third defeat. Warriors have 47 points, eight above second-placed Lusaka Tigers, who battled to a barren draw with Matero United, while Nampundwe are third with 37 points.
