Mohamed Fathi has today left Kabwe Warriors by mutual consent after two and half years in charge of the club.
And former Zambia international Kampamba Chintu is set to take over from the Egyptian. Chintu has been in charge of Warriors since October.
Both parties have agreed not to renew the contract which expires in early 2017.
The Executive suspended Mohamed Fathi in October this year after his attacks on the executive in the public media.
Fathi was appointed mid way through the 2014 season when the club was relegated largely due to the team being sanctioned by FAZ to play 8 home games away following crowd violence at the Railway and Sunset stadiums.
The Egyptian coach steered the team back to the top flight in 2015 by winning the Division 1 South Championship.
Fathi leaves the club in sixth position on the FAZ Super League table.
The executive is being ungreatful.
Fathi tod u wat z supposed to be…incompetence executive telling u how to run soccer u are getting upset u are de one contributing to poor soccer management in zambia..learn to be controlled
our clubs we very very behind in tems of footbal management. Look at might ed chabinga issue, where is might now?
Zesco there you go Fathi is up grabs knows the league his teams play a decent brand of football.
I do not know why Fathi has never impressed me with his 1-0 wins or draws. But I wish him well.
