Janza starts life at Red Arrows on a high with CAPS United win
Former Chipolopolo coach and Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) technical director Honour Janza has started life at Nkoloma Stadium on a high after he guided the Zambia Airforce team to a 2 – 0 victory of Zimbabwean champions CAPS United Friday afternoon.
Janza who was confirmed as Arrows coach barely two weeks ago will have Lubinda Mundia to thank for the two goals that settled the game.
It was clear from the way Arrows lined up that there would be no change in playing personnel this season but Janza seems to be building a team with a lot of attacking flair with Festuss Mbewe at the tip of the ‘Red Arrow’.
Arrows looked exciting going forward with some good wing play from Stanley Nshimbi and Bruce Musakanya but it was the gangly Mundia who starred with a goal on either side of the half.
The result and display will give hope to the Arrows faithful who have seen their team under perform over the years despite being well sponsored.
Arrows finished 7th both in the 2015 and 2016 amassing 43 and 46 points in each of the seasons respectively.
