Green Eagles protest omission from 2018 Barclays Cup
Super Division side Green Eagles has filed a protest to the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) over their omission from the 2018 Barclays Cup competition.
FAZ announced the contestants of the 2018 competition and named Lusaka Dynamos ahead of Green Eagles in a criteria that was least expected by most Zambian soccer stakeholders.
In a statement released to Zambianfootball.co.zm, FAZ acknowledged receipt of the protest from the Choma based ZNS sponsored side but indicated that the draws would proceed while the protest was being handled by relevant bodies within Football House.
Below is the full statement from FAZ.
