Green Eagles players urged to push even harder
Green Eagles coach Aggrey Chiyangi has urged his players to work even harder as they push for a top four slot this season. Eagles currently lie third on the log with 47 points after Sunday’s two goals to one win over Kabwe Youth away in Kabwe.
The former Nkana boss has also thanked Eagles supporters for their support and Zambia National Service, The sponsors for the commitment they have towards the club.
” We happy for the players who are playing very well and we just urge them to keeping pushing harder because all the games are going to be tough. To the fans we say thank for the support and to the sponsors we appreciate what you are doing for the team, ” he said.
Next for the Choma based out-fit is Chingalika and Chiyangi is aware of the threat that the Kitwe Out-fit posses but he is confident they will prepare adequately for them.
“It is another game that will be very tough . Kitwe United are not a push over. The advantage is that we are playing at home so we will just have to push for three points. We will prepare well for them ,” he said.
In-form Anos Tembo opened the scores in the 31st minute but it was back to level terms six minutes into the second stanza thanks to a Clifford Saidi strike. Second half substitute Shadreck Mulungwe grab the winner at the death as Chiyangi’s men walked away with all three points.
