Green Eagles is a good team – Akinfenwa

Angolan giants Primeiro de Agusto beat Green Eagles football club by two goals to one in the first leg of their CAF Champions League pre-group stage match played on Saturday afternoon at Heroes stadium.
Speaking to the ZAMFOOT crew after the match winger Ibukun Akinfenwa acknowledged the Kawale Boys strength and admitted that it was not an easy match.
“This is what we expected , They are a very good team.We executed our plan well in the first half but it was difficult in the second half, now we know the team we are playing with so will go back home and plan well so that we can beat them again in the second leg.”
Primeiro de Agusto scored a goal of either side of half time with goals from Christavao Pacienca and Christian Ngudikama. Amity Shamende scored for the Choma based outfit.
The second leg will be played on 28th September, 2019 in Luanda, Angola.
The winner over the two legs of this encounter qualifies to the group stages of the CAF Champion League while the loser drops to the CAF Confederation Cup.
