Idriss Mbombo came off the bench in the first half to score the only goal of the match which as Nkana beat second placed Green Buffaloes 1 – 0 .
The result saw Green Buffaloes fail to take advantage of a slip up by Zesco United to go top for a second week running as they remain second, level on points with the Champions.
Nkana who have not lost in the last six games winning five times on the other hand moved into third position ahead on Green Eagles on goal difference.
