Forest, Eagles draw in six goal thriller
It was a six goal thriller at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium when Forest Rangers were held to a 3 – 3 draw by visiting Green Eagles.
It was a game of two halves which saw Eagles dominate the first half and deservedly went into the break with a one goal lead.
Greenwell Witika was the scorer of the only goal of the half.
Rangers then turned the game around and equalized in the 54th minute through Logic Chingandu before some good runs onto some route one balls by Felix Nyaende saw him complete a brace in a space of 5 minutes for Rangers to lead 3 – 1 by the 81st minute.
Eagles were pressing and dominating play but it was Rangers find the net.
However, the pressure for the Choma side when Andrew Phiri headed home from a corner in the 88th minute before Greenwell Witika blasted home from close range after a goal mouth melee In the 90th minute.
The draw sees Rangers move one step up into 10th position while Eagles remain stuck in 14th position, just outside the relegation zone.
