  1. germany dont look very strong. but technically they are better . i dont expect zambia to win. we are too predictable and player positioning is poor. meanwhile is this buildcon side zambian?

  2. iam not comfortble with the issue of video refs. as a ref on the pitch u are the master of decisions. that is why they chose u. u are sharp and have eagle eyes. the video ref pre empts the decision between too many minds. and why is it only working against africans?

  3. The game against Germany will be won mentally and physically. The team that is able to play as a team, be technically sound and not panicky when they go behind will win this game. If we are too individualistic in our approach, can not string together passes and are completely on attack as a team(meaning defenders leaving their position to go up don’t seeking glory) then we will get exposed. I wonder what we spent the time in Spain on, because these young men can still not pass the ball, defenders keep getting exposed etc. when Patson gets the ball he looks for the open man to make the right pass or to go for goal. Emanuel Banda also has those qualities, slows the game down and looks for the good pass. Fashion Sakala tends to over do it especially with the step overs(glad the Europeans have him, they will stop this habit). Mwepu is too lackadaisical on the ball, Chilufya is too individualistic with the ball, Boyd Musonda can’t pass any ball. Chiluya has to understand that his man will keep getting behind him(mark your zone). The central defenders need to understand that they can’t keep fouling all the time especially in the 18(too aggressive). The right back same as chiluya. Also we need to stop crowding the ball, we tend to have 3 or 4 players around the ball leaving opposing players un marked. We also need to slow down the game at times and stop looking for the quick ball upfront. Pass it back and build from there, you kick it forward to the opposition that’s loosing possession meaning you are on defense again. Honestly I have no confidence in Chambeshi, he has had all this time To improve on the team and still I see the same weaknesses. The sheer skill and will power of the kids have masked his inefficiencies, the game against a sound team like Germany will definitely require him to conjure up something. NOw the tournament starts, you want to be the best? Beat the best…….France in the quarterfinals.

    • Gosh man you are probably the most negative analyst watching the games. We scored six goals in two games and yes the boys were a bit lackluster in the last game as we can expected but really now, the boys are playing some really good football. I cant disagree more with you analysis

    • Boring post I couldn’t even finish reading it coz of the negativity I bet you will be the first to celebrate when the opposite happen.Cheer up a little my brother it doesn’t hurt!!!

  4. No more complacency. Discipline, team play, good defense, clever passing and scoring. Avoid rough marking. Check the offside trap which will involve the video referee against you. Zambia can beat Germany if we observe mistakes of the past

  5. The slow methodical build up play of the Germans won’t have an answer to our quick counter attacking system Zambia plays, German kuya bebele.

  6. Our boys are by any standards predictable and simply stated Winners. Look at the competitive matches from the Cosafa tournament they won! Germany is good but Zambia is better at the moment. Any result is possible but I placing my confidence on the African Champs. Shalom

  7. Zambia shouldn’t fear Germany because football is not about names but a team play.they should not over respect this Germany team but they should just treat it like any other team with the right flame of mind Germany is beat able

  8. A good team beat Portugal, 2-1, a good team came from behind 2-0 to win 4-2. It displayed brilliant team work and high work rate throughout the tournament. That team is Zambia. There is no need to fear the team which only beat the whipping boys of the tournament Vanuatu 3-2 . The dream team should respect Germany ,not fear it. Lets do what we know best – win!
Be encouraged young Chipolopolo! I am also heartened by your humility in giving glory to God for your successes

  9. I would like to agree with @Stumpy on the other posting we lacking technically at the back. How do you coincide 3 penalties in 2 games? Our boys are clumsy at the back and are not disciplined. In the box go for a clean tackle. The refs are falling for our opponent’s tricks fall at at slight tackle. If the Coaching staff can correct this then we home and dry for the Quarters and beyond.

We also starting kwati ni goods train. We should be the first to take the game to the Germans. They look very ordinary. We can’t be chasing a game for the third time. Score first and the pressure will be on Germany. I prefer Ngosa Sunzu starting this game.

@MuZedian this game wont go to penalties. These are two teams that will go at each other. What happened to your Zambia vs Argentina prediction? Argentina are back home already.

  10. I feel there is a slight bias against Africans teams. Senegal, Zambia, and South Africa have been at the wrong side of some decisions.

South Africa vs Italy. A foul outside the box and Italy is given a penalty. The referee is asked for a video review he says no. He says he has made a decision and it’s final. Zambia vs Costa Rica. The referee gives a goal to Zambia and he is over ruled by the video ref. Same against Senegal. That’s why Zambia needs to be clinical against German. Aba ba zungu i don’t trust them.

    This is my personal observation.

  11. How about the ka revenge after 39 years! And how befitting for it to again come in South Korea. That 4-0 bashing of Kalu and co by Kinsman and co must be avenged

  12. Sometimes I think we forget that we beat Portugal coming into the knock out stages and they have a stronger pedigree at the world cup U20 than Germany. The comments give a sense of some panic from the bloggers.

The commentators are now rating Zambia as one of the outside chance teams to win the tournament. lets not put our heads down people, they are not head and shoulders above us in any way. Our boys should just hold their heads up, chins high and believe and they will overcome.

  13. We should win this game. Ba coach tayanikoni nzelu ku defence and ask he boys to hold on to the ball..string passes the way the do towards the end of a game.. Get off that slooow start!

  14. Just relax and play to win. They are usually very efficient in whatever they do. It’s just to take them on punch for punch because you want to be known. Like innocent say “Ba sanga baleteya.”

  15. From the the games played so far, Zambia hold an upper hand. Germany have struggled to get results. Let the boys play as a team. I agree, Boyd Musonda needs to up his game. Defence also needs attention. I predict a 1-0 scoreline in favour of Zambia.

  16. Perhaps the best opportunity to avenge that 1988 painful defeat in the Olympic games in the same city and country at the hands of then the invincible Klinsman! We can do it boys! Yes, be alert and do not concede early goals! We can do it too! 4-0!

  17. As long as Germans they come in 11 and zambians come in 11 they will play the neither the name nor the history plays but the players of that day let’s go Zambia go!!!!!!

  18. Young chipolopolo complacency will coast them. So far so good. Play as the team.africa is behind you.patson daka and fashion sakala this is your time to shine.

  19. Our team will triumph no matter what.At times u need to shown abit of weakness for u to beat the real enemy. And thats what Zambia experienced. The issue of video ref.came at a right time and am sure our boys are alive to that effect.

  20. AS AN AFRICAN,-GERMANY IS STRUGGLING AT THIS MATCH..

REASONS:- VANUATU IS AN ISLAND WITH ONLY ABOUT 650 POPULATION
    GERMANY FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO BEAT THEM FAIR AND SQUARE;
THE MATCH WAS GERMANY 3 VANAUTU 2.

WOT KWAME WILL SAY IS VIZ:- GERMANY IS A FOOTBALL COUNTRY
THEY CAN COME BACK TO DISTRESS THE YOUNG CHIPOS–WOT
I WANT THEM TO DO IS TO GO FULL TROTTLE LIKE THEY DID
IN THE AFC AND HOW THEY STARTED THE WC .

THEY MUST AVOID COMPLACENCY AND LISTEN TO THE COACH ADVICES.

ANYWAY, GOOD LUCK TO THE YOUNG CHIPOS.

ILL WATCH IT TOMOROW LIFE AND PRAY FOR THEM.
