FAZ postpones division two and three commencement
The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has postponed the date of commencement of Division two and three. This is because of lower division clubs not finishing registering the their players on time.
This is in accordance with a circular published by the association general secretary Adrian Kashala. The circular states that, “owning to registration challenges being experienced by many lower at the moment.
“It has been decided to postponed your week one fixtures to allow your clubs to go through registration process.”
“Kindly be advised no further postponements will be allowed on account of registration processes or non-availability of identification cards for any of your players.” Kashala stated.
Clubs should use this period to register their officials and players and he has strongly warned clubs, “Further, note that any club that will not fulfil five (5) league games or more, they will automatically be deregistered and the slot will be allocated to another club.”
The Division two and three season was supposed to kickoff this weekend but due to the fact that clubs have not finished registrations, the commencement has been pushed to a later date.
