We hv an option to go or watch on TV. Since the match is inconcequetial will prefer the latter! After all the money would b pinched by chaps with KazaLa mentality! Come to think of it wat happened to our K150,000 tax payers money. Kazala got away scotfree did he?!!!! strange country

  2. SLIM says:

INFACT SOCCER FANS ON THE COPPERBELT MUST BOYCOTT THE MARCH AND PRESSURE FAZ TO DISCLOSE WHERE KAZALA TOOK THE K150,000! TAXPAYERS MONEY SHOULD NOT B EMBEZLED WITH IMPUNITY. IS KAMANGA SCARED THAT KAZALA WILL HIT HIM WITH A COUNTER PUNCH,???. OR IS CORRUPTION THE NEW CULTURE IN ZAMBIA!

    • Big Steve 4rm SA says:

It has been the culture since 1991. It was almost eliminated when Mwanawasa was president but quickly came back full swing once he died and now if corruption was a qualification it would be a PHD in Zambia….. anyway back to the topic, FAZ cannot be serious about this pricing. They should not even have spent any money calling the overseas players for a formality match.

In as much as we appreciate that it is a formality match, fans must strike a balance between making the match accessible(affordable) to the least of the brethren in the soccer fraternity and the cost of using Levy Mwanawasa stadium. FAZ has to pay the Stadium Management for maintenance. Let the suggested fees be above the break even point so that FAZ does not subsidise the fans.

    • Big Steve 4rm SA says:

You make it sound like subsidizing the fans every now and then is a wrong thing. In south Africa stadia usage fees are exorbitant and yet from time to time they throw in a free game just to give back to the soccer family that is forever faithful.

Yes FAZ does not have money but since you went biblical I will also ask, even the poor should tithe not so?

We should at the very least go fifty fifty…….

      • Grace of God says:

Correct. FAZ can put the gate charges at the level where the cater for stadium fees and other expenses and foregoing the profit so as to give back to the fans. That is 50 – 50.

Otherwise, K30 is not a fair lowest price. Remember, the inaugural competitive fixture played at Levy Mwanawasa stadium which sold out like hot cake, Zambia versus Ghana, on 9th June, 2012, had the lowest ticket pegged at K50.

This match should be played in Nakonde! We don’t even want it on TV.

  5. Chimpombwa says:

Nkani ya national pride.. whether its formality or not, its our country playing. Those who want to stay home should just stay home and not bring brainless statements like “FAZ should pay the fans”. The politicians are to blame for free mentality.. There is NO free lunch!! Spend that energy you are using to complain to get off your behind and look for the K30!

Hire Nchanga stadium, its much much cheaper!

  7. Teopizo The White Dove says:

don’t talk much the game is cardinal to the future of youngstars in the zambia national team like the fashion of this world, edward, banda emma, solomon sakala, daka &mwepu ….. this formality game will contribute to the future of zambian players come 2018 this team will be marvel to watch……go zambia go…..

  8. Benny says:
