  4. Andy DeRoche says:

Greetings my friends! If Sinkala is injured, all the more reason to call Musonda from Armenia. Also, why has Mbola been deleted from the list of defenders? His experience would add to Sunzu’s leadership on the back line. To strengthen the strike force my vote goes to Mayuka, who career must be rejuvenated. It will not be a coach in Egypt who does it. Have we already forgotten 2012?

    • Big Steve 4rm SA says:

The upcoming game in Cameroon is way to important to use as a litmus test to see if Mayuka still has goals in his legs. The best option to replace Kalengo would have been Jackson Mwanza.

      • quicksilver says:

On Mayuka it’s a dead end. He has to earn his Call up. The least the coach should have done is maintain Jackson Mwanza. He seemed sharp against Nigeria

  5. Larry Michelo says:

The Only Problm Wth Ths Team Z Dat Its Not A Team Wch Rpresents The Entire Country, bcoz Mostly Its Jst On Tribal Lines. When U Go 2 Western P,southern P And Otha Prvnces, even In Division 1 Lyk De Odds Usd 2 Do,thats Y We Were Evn Able 2 Beat Whites, U Can Find Gud Players That Can Evn Be Better Than Thoz Currently In National Team. The Current Faz President Shud Change His Motives And Do Better Than Kalusha Bwalya Who Z Against Him, And Was And Z Stl Corrupt.Zambia Z 4 All Tribes Within Zambia.Gud Lucky Chpopolo

    • ZamFoot says:

It would be good if those players push their way into some organised league for easy identification and for them to experience playing at some organizationed (professional?) level

    • Big Steve 4rm SA says:

@Larry Michelo I am saying this with the utmost respect for you as a blogger but for lack of a better word, sorry to say but what you are saying here is nonsensical.

  6. Mukamba Stan says:

i dont see zambia wining in cameroon.how do u drop chansa u call sate sate poor selection we need an expertriate

  7. Cooma coma says:

These comments also, tribal, this one is not there, bring mayuka! What!! say and give reason for what you say!!! otherwise just wish the team luck! chapwa!!!!

  8. Billy says:

Just expect a thorough beating in Cameroon. This team is useless. Lubambo Musonda, Mayuka, Mbola and Jackson Mwanza should have been part of the squad.

  9. chachine says:

our team needs experience from Mbola to the left full back and also lubambo Musonda is much needed in the team, please Wada swallow your pride and these players,

  10. Adebayo says:

Comrade michelo has lost it don’t bring tribalism here but for this team I fill mayuka is still beta than these players, fwayo, mbola and lubambo Cameroon will play a speedy game this is were our journey ends no questions

Am Jst Wishing U All Guys Good Lucky Wth All Yo Comments, Otherwise U Cant Call All The Playaz At Once! And Moreover, If Yor Best Players Ar Not Cald For National Duty Then It Does Not Mean That They Wont Play Again For The Nation, They Will! I Think It To Do Wth Selfness As Well As Team Work. Some Of The Players U Hav Endorsed They Lik Playing Selfness Footbal, Of They Hav Faild Us Alot. Its Nt The Quality Of Players That Mak U To Win The Game, Its A Team Spirit That Comes Wth A Team Cordination Which Maks Up A Team Work I Mean The Togatherness In The Team, The Belief In The Team Which States That Yes We Can As Long As We Play As A Team. Otherwise, My Advise To The Coach Is Let Evryone Who Is Wel Built Up Or Mor Organisd Wth Self Displine B Given A Chance To Play For Mother Zambia. We Dont Want Indivual Footbal. Otherwise, Am Among Thoz Cant Eat And Sleep When We Have Lost. Goodluck Coach And All The Best To The Bullets

  12. Chintu Umwene says:

Bolaaaaaaaaa! the danger of being too opinionated is that you end up imposing your opinion on others as though it was a fact. You question the absence of a player, without first checking what is happening them (you`re told injured), next, you recommend a player whom you`ve not watched play for months but just because you know he exist (you`re told lacks match fitness). Always check your facts before you start typing on this blog. After 2012, we`ve lacked self belief and this will cost us greatly. We need mental toughness and we need to organise ourselves well- ‘Don`t fatten a Pig on markets` day’ they say. Coach last minute, players not very active except for a few and mostly local, Group- tough one Algeria, Cameroon and Nigeria, Preparation nothing, after being knocked of the AFCON qualifiers. Zambians. We love to put faith in almost everything. Football is science not religion as some people think. You don`t wake up from you bed without ever training and think you will stop the ball from Ronaldo, Ronaldnho. Wake, train hard, play in a competitive league make a name that others will revere and then get into a tournament with the sense of winning and praying that you will find the opponents sleeping. It doesn`t work.

All the same, they call it Zambia and I call it Home. Chipolopolo all the way. Mpaka litente in Yaonde- ni 90 minutes!

  13. Chintu Umwene says:

Not praying that you will find the opponents sleeping. It doesn`t work

  14. Mark seliz says:

But local coaches do u follow de fitness of our players who are playing outside…sinkala z injured he didn’t play on Sunday’s final so u are supose to replace him with chansa…up-front Winston z also a doubt u are supose to replace him with mayuka not sate sate…u are very far to coach de national team u nid to learn more frm clubs…they shud not giv u a contract by faz u are not qualified…poor selection i think u dont know if dere z a play called lubambo musonda…lose well in Uganda and go to cameroon to fullfil de fixture by losing as wel….after cameroon game just tel your boss kamanga dat lets withdraw frm de group u are going no were….come and prepare for cosafa next year

  15. Mark seliz says:

There z only one left back fuckson kapumbu u are risking a team…u shud hav called mbola so dat atleast they are two on dat side better on de right back we hav chongo and silwimba…u can’t coach a national team u are very far on each position players shud be two…ati wada wada i thought maybe niba coach zoona kansi palibe

  16. Mark seliz says:

U were supose to drop dat friend of yours Adrian Chama so dat u bring in mbola on de left back to partina with fuckson kabumbu…too much of centre backs as a result u risked de team to pick only one left back…too much spectators on centre back poor selection…yabaaa local coaches just resign lik your friend lwandamina

  17. ba Phirie says:

So ba Michelo all you can see here is tribe? Can you please suggest names of performing players both locally or foreign based players who have been left out of the team based on their tribe. Am sure the technical bench will consider those names in future assignments if they are good enough. Am patiently waiting for your response boss

  18. PAPA GAME says:

Our team is worrying.now that sinkala is likely not to play this game chansa should have been included in the team to help the midfield because this means that muthonga will take number 6 and chaila 8 but i fear chaila can’t cope well with cameroon for 90 minutes.fwayo again will not have it easy here .Mayuka even if we are saying he is finished he better than kampamba far.it was even same to katongo alot of people said he was finished but what did he do when he was recalled ? Another worry is on our left back mbola no doubt is best we have at the moment but he is ignored.pressure is sunzu a humble man i love.the man needs the cover but coaches have ignored this for a long time.too bad for mother zambia for we don’t have a cover fot 6 and8 in case of anything to muthonga and chaila because all the other midfield can only operate the flanks.

  19. kensplash says:

Zambia’s population is almost nearing 15 million if not 16 million. If each of us was asked to come up with a list of players to be called to the national team, we would end up with 15 million plus lists of different players. What am simply saying is that let the coach work with the crop of players he feels can deliver for him and the nation and these others who have been left out will have their chance to play if the coach feels the need. However, my word of caution to the coach is that team selection must be on merit unlike what has been happening in the recent past.GO ZAMBIA GO!
