Sven names strong squad for Guinea Bissau clash
Chipolopolo Boys coach Sven Vandenbroeck has named his squad to face Guinea Bissau for next week’s back to back African Cup of Nations qualifier.
Supersport United ‘s Gamphani Lungu has been dropped due to lack of game of time at his club.
Nkwazi goalkeeper Charles Mutanga has replaced Power Dynamos’ Lawrence Mulenga while Zesco United left back Fackson Kapumbu has made a return to the squad.
Vandenbroeck also explained that Green Eagles winger Spencer Sautu was close to making the team but there’s a lot of competition in wide areas.
Zambia and Guinea Bissau will go head to head on Wednesday next week at 18h00 at Heroes Stadium on match day 3.
Three days later, Guinea Bissau will host Zambia on match day 4.
