Edward Tembo to leave City of Lusaka
City of Lusaka captain Edward Tembo has hinted at his departure from Woodlands stadium. Tembo who was part of the Zambia U20 all conquering squad that won the 2017 U20 African cup of nations and reached the quarter finals of the World cup has been fantastic for City of Lusaka despite the teams poor run.
“I don’t think I will be with them next seasson. I think am going somewhere else,” he said.
The talented defensive midfielder is troubled by the teams relegation to division one but said they will put everything in God’s hands.
“Its really bad but we have to put everything in God’s hands because he is the one who made it possible for us to come into the super league ,” he said
City of Lusaka have been officially relegated from the super league after a humiliating five two loss at the hands of Lusaka Dynamos.
