Div 1 Zone 2: FQMO Roads go three points clear as Blackpool finally win
FQMO Roads went three points clear at the top of the Division one Zone two league when they took advantage of slip ups by the chasing pack to move to 14 points with a 1 – 0 home win over Geokas Curve.
Its a tightly contested league with only three points separating the second placed Kitwe United and 7th placed ZNS Lwamfumu.
Kitwe United who benefited from a 3 – 0 bashing of ZNS Lwamfumu leaped into second position from 7th position.
Kalulushi Modern Stars, Kansashi Dynamos and Indeni who were placed second, third and fourth all drew their matches.
Mufulira Blackpool finally picked a win after 38 matches extending to the 2016 super division season when they beat Zesco Luapula 1 – 0 away from home.
